What these rules do

Position sizingWith a $5,000 bankroll and a 25% cap, no card over $1,250gets a Buy — ever. One bust can't sink the portfolio.

Margin floorsA flip must clear 20% after ~13% marketplace fees and shipping to be a Buy, 30% for a Strong Buy. Deals that only work before fees are automatically exposed.

Graded onlyOnly PSA, BGS, SGC slabs are considered. Grading removes condition guesswork — the biggest beginner trap in raw cards.

Favorite teamSeattle Mariners cards get a small Raven Score boost, but only after a deal already clears the margin floor. Fandom never overrides math.
